Product Information

We use high quality products for all of our services.  Quality products from  Anderson, Connor, Bruce, Chickasaw, De Soto, Hartko, Harris-Tarkett, Kahrs, Kentucky, Robbins-Cherrybark, Maxwell, Modawaska, Janus, Missouri, Monticello, Cumberland, Mulligan-Somerset, and Sfiuart are just a few of the exceptional products we use.  Our stains are from Benjamin Moore, Bona Kemi, Dura Seal - MinWax, Flecto, Fuller O'Brien, Glitsa, McCloskey, Pratt & Lambert, Zar and other high quality companies.

We carry both standard and exotic woods.  Our hardwoods include, but are certainly not limited to, Amazon (exotic), Ash, Beech, Birch, American or Brazilian Cherry (exotic), Hickory, Mahogany, Maple, Pine, Poplar, Purple, Red Cedar, Red and White Oak, Teak, Walnut, Zebrawood (exotic) and many more.

We have special hardwood floor cleaners that can extend the life of your wood floor.

We are diligent about testing for moisture content.  Our materials never exceed an 8% moisture absorption rate.

Installation Services

Installation of hard subfloors and floating systems. Hard or floating installations can be done with nails, staples or glue depending on the flooring requirements.

Installation of standard and custom hardwood floors of various grades, types, thicknesses and woods.  

Installation of hardwood floors from new or recycled wood planks, strips and parquet or mosaic on wood or concrete or concrete with wood subfloors.

Installation of unfinished or pre-finished, solid flooring, engineered flooring, laminated flooring, including high pressure melamine laminated such as Pergo, Wilsomart, Traffic Zone and others. 

Installation of cork flooring and bamboo flooring.

Installation of acrylic impregnated hardwood floors.

Installation over radiant heating over a concrete or wooden subfloor.

Floor or wall Installation of radiant wooden heat vents flush or dropped in made from almost any wood.  We can install wooden heat vents with or without dampers, and can install custom vents.  

Installation of standard and custom directional requirements.  Straight installations, diagonal, herringbone or other directional patterns are professionally installed.

Installation can include beveled edging, as well as micro and full edgings and ends.

Installation of woods with standard or special cuts.  We can install wood flooring that is plain-sawed, rift or quarter sawed or a mix of cuts, rift and quarter cuts, birdseye cuts, tiger, curly and others.

Custom installations can include decorative strips, borders, medallions, patterns, inlays, below-grade installations, installation of pegs in a variety of woods, stone, ceramic, marble, brass and/or glass in wood, as well as other decorative elements. 

Installation and exchange of Base, Shoe, Quadrants, Baseboards, Thresholds and Reducers of all types and kinds.

Installation of stairs, including repairs, sanding, bleaching, staining and finishing.

Installation of sound barriers and moisture barriers that meets regulatory requirements, particularly for condominiums and apartments. 

Installation of fireproofing material that meets regulatory requirements. 

Installation of gym flooring, including repairs, sanding, finishing and straping to NWFA regulations.

Repair Services

We repair broken and defective hardwood floors.

We will level wooden and concrete floors and subfloors using a method suitable for the age and type of your floor. 

We will patch any floor splits, fill any holes, or take care of any other defects by the appropriate method.

We can remove squeaks from your floor or subfloor.

Giving you a Professional Hand in your Floor Installation

We will sand, buff and screen your floors using modern dustless floor sanding and buffing equipment.

We will strip and finish your wood.

We can test your subfloor's moisture level and install a moisture vapor barrier if necessary.

We can move heavy furniture and appliances with safe glides and felt protectors for a small extra charge.

We can remove your existing flooring, carpeting and tile – or whatever else might be in the way.

We can dispose of post-construction waste and add on a special service cleaning. For your safety and the safety of your family, please do not store construction debris at home or in a closed space.  Construction debris holds many toxic fumes and is very flammable.  Special containers are made to contain such material. 

Tailoring your Wood and Making it Beautiful

We now offer hand scraping, distressing and wire brushing.

Bleaching, dyeing, and/or pre-staining of hardwood floors can be done in any color and multiple times.

We offer custom floor painting services.

Staining and re-staining is available in all colors and stains.  Standard and Fast-Drying name brand stains are available. 

We can bring out your wood's natural color in a choice of several shades – without any staining or bleaching.   We also have a non-yellowing floor finish, and natural colors with bleach.

We will finish and refinish your wood.  Sheens available are Super Gloss, Gloss, Semi-Gloss, Satin, and Super Matte.  Custom sheens are also available.  Finishes can be done in a regular finish, or extra-low odor, quick drying, high durability, and non-yellowing.  They can be wax, plyurethane, water-based, Swedish-Synteko, Swedish-Glitsa with Sealer Glitsa or Sealer Bacca, Moisture Cure, or Urethane.
